MUNICIPAL COURT
In New Jersey, if a person appears in court chances are that court is a municipal court. These courts handle a variety of cases not gen-erally associated with municipal courts. EXPUNGEMENT
In New Jersey, people with a criminal record can, in some instances, have those records expunged. When an expungement is granted, the expunged act is deemed to have never occurred.
